Board of Directors’ meetings are held quarterly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00p. Board Meetings are held at Creekside Elementary School Cafeteria.
We encourage you to attend, ask questions, and participate in what’s happening in your community. Volunteers are always welcome!
Amended Collection Policy
There has been a statute adopted by the 2013 legislature requiring all HOA’s to update their collection policy to be consistent with this new statute. In order to be in compliance with the new statute HB 1276, we hired our legal firm, Orten, Cavanagh & Holmes, LLC to write our revision of this policy.
HB 1276 takes aim at the way association’s collect assessments. The bill prohibits an association from referring a collection matter to an attorney or collection agency prior to the Association’s adoption of a collection policy. While the adoption of a policy was already required by SB 100, a prohibition to turning the matter over for collection is new.
